Application Areas
Place bait stations in dark, humid areas where roaches are most active: under kitchen and bathroom sinks, behind and beneath major appliances, inside lower cabinets, along interior baseboards, near garbage containers, and around water heaters or sump pumps. For best results, position stations against walls and in corners where roach travel paths are visible or suspected. Avoid placing stations in areas exposed to direct sunlight, standing water, or extreme heat, which can degrade the bait prematurely. Space stations approximately 6 to 10 feet apart in moderate infestations, or more closely in heavy-activity zones.
Use Case Notes
Because the active ingredient works slowly, roach activity may continue for several days after initial placement as workers carry bait back to the nest. This delayed kill is intentional and is what enables colony-level elimination rather than just knocking down individual foragers. Do not use other insecticide sprays or repellents near the bait stations, as contact kills or deterrents will stop roaches from entering the stations and feeding. If roach populations remain high after 3 months, replace all stations and assess whether additional placement density is needed. For severe infestations, combine Source Kill Max bait stations with Combat roach gel bait in cracks and crevices that stations cannot reach.
