Ingredients
- 1½ lbs chicken tenders
- 1½ cups Azar Blanched Sliced Almonds
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Cooking spray or 2 tbsp olive oil
Steps
- Preheat oven to 425 °F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread the sliced almonds on a cutting board and gently crush with a rolling pin or flat-bottomed pan to create coarse crumbs.
- In a shallow dish, combine the flour, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place beaten eggs in a second shallow dish and the crushed almonds in a third.
