Preparation & Use
- For full batch preparation, bring 3 quarts of water to a full rolling boil.
- Combine 1 quart of cool tap water and 1 package of cheddar cheese sauce mix in a separate container, then whisk until lump free.
- Pour the sauce mix blend into boiling water, stir until the cheese sauce returns to a boil, then simmer for 1 minute while stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat, pour into a serving container, and maintain internal sauce temperature at 165°F during service.
- For smaller quantity preparation, use 3 cups rapidly boiling water, 1 cup cool tap water, and 1 1/2 cups lightly packed cheddar cheese sauce mix for an approximate 1 quart yield.
